About Phenomenal Women: The Phenomenal Women Group, Inc. (TPWG) is an organization of African American Women, who have a high moral character. Strong motivation and a undying spirit to climb and reach the heights. Michelle Mitchell is the National Director of the Phenomenal Women Network and has worked as an officer in the Long Beach Branch NAACP back in 2003 and currently has active memberships in, The New York Urban League Young Professionals, National Council of Negro Women, and The Order of Eastern Star, The National Congress of Black Women, Inc., Black Data Processing Associates, National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE).

The Joint Business Partner Series will be held at Dallas BBQ 27 West 72nd Street, New York, New York (Lower Level).

Hempstead, NY – (PAPR) - August 18, 2009 - Hempstead, Long Island has been long considered the Hub or epicenter of business. Recognizing this fact, small business owners around the region will converge on Hempstead on Tuesday, August 25, 2009 in an effort to network and to develop strategies that would help them stimulate their own personal economic success on. The event will be held at Nakisaki Restaurant located at 276 Fulton Avenue in Hempstead from 11:30-2:00 pm.

Dubbed “Networking Tuesdays in the HUB,” the event is a buffet-style gathering intended to bring the small business owners, community and civic leaders together to share information and support each other in these tough economic times, giving these professionals the opportunity to meet and talk with others in business and get results for what they want to do. Each participant will also get a chance to introduce and/or promote his or her business.

The business owners will be coached by Andrew Morrison, a Fortune 500 business consultant who has even traveled to Nigeria, West Africa to train 1,200 business owners how they can come together to increase business in the region. Mr. Morrison has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show and hosts “Money Making Mondays” on 98.7 FM. He has been featured in top-rated publications -- the Wall Street Journal, Crain’s, Advertising Age, Black Enterprise – to name a few.

“Community development is an important idea, and it is central to returning the Village of Hempstead to its glorious past and rightful title as the Hub of Nassau County,” said Claude Gooding, Commissioner of Community Development Agency for the Village of Hempstead.

Networking Tuesdays in the HUB, a Business-2-Business event is presented by Hempstead community-based newspaper, The Hempstead/Uniondale Times, along with Power Networking Business Seminar Series.
